High-Speed Chase in Bakersfield: CHP Pursues Impala at 90 MPH 🚓

On January 27, 2025, in Bakersfield California a Highway Patrolman started chasing a Chevrolet Impala at speeds of 90 mph after it passed him on Hosking Avenue at 90 mph in the posted 50 mph zone. After a short pursuit the driver decided to stop the chase and pulled the car on over Sperry Street, he was taken into custody without further incident. The driver was identified as Antionio Angel Macias. He was arrested without further incident and booked in the Lerdo Jail on the following charges:
