High-Speed Chase in Oakland: Audi Evades CHP on I-580 🚓

on June 19, 2025 in Oakland, California, Highway Patrol officers started chasing a blue Audi sedan with illegal window tint on I-580 near Park Boulevard after the driver refused to stop for the officers and fled at speeds up to 120 mph. The pursuit was called ultimately off for public safety reasons, and later that morning officers followed up with an investigation after obtaining a warrant for the Audi. Officers found the sedan near 24th Street and Northgate Avenue in Oakland and the Audi was impounded for 30 days, the investigation into the whereabouts of the driver is still ongoing.
