High-Speed Chase in Oakland Ends with CHP Foot Pursuit 🚓

On March 1. 2023, In Oakland California, CHP Airplane Air - 37 responded to assist Contra Costa Sheriff Deputies who were in pursuit westbound on Highway 24. Air-37 arrived overhead allowing ground units to back off from pursuing the stolen car. Once the vehicle stopped, the suspect attempted to walk away in the City of Oakland on Humboldt Ave. towards Davis St.
A CHP ground unit arrived as the suspect was walking away from the stolen car, the Officer attempted to stop the suspect, but he fled on foot. The suspect was arrested after a foot chase into Peralta Hacienda Historical Park where he was tackled and arrested without further incident by the Officer and turned over to responding Contra Costa Deputies.
