High-Speed Police Chase in Los Angeles: Stolen Dodge Charger Pursuit 🚓

On July 12, 2025, in Los Angeles California Highway Patrol officers intercepted a stolen Dodge Charger pursuit on the 110 Freeway (Harbor Freeway). The Charger was occupied by a couple of teenagers attempting to evade a LAPD Helicopter. CHP Officers got behind the Charger near Vernon Avenue and started chasing the car at high speeds across multiple freeways and through LA surface streets. The chase finally ended when CHP officers executed a PIT maneuver, successfully stopping the car at Grand Avenue and 111th Place. The driver and passenger were taken into custody without any further incident. Later that evening on 07/12/2025 officers were notified of a firearm located in the car at the storage/tow yard. Officers responded and recovered a loaded Glock 48 semi-automatic pistol loaded with a 14-round magazine. A records check showed no registered owners in the state of California and the Glock returned clear.

The driver was Identified as Antuane Ivan Aguilar he was arrested and booked into the LAPD 77th Division Jail on the following charges:
10851(A) - Take Vehicle W/O Owner's Consent
2800.2(A - Evasion - Wanton Disregard for Safety

The Passenger was identified as Anthony Veramorelos he was arrested for an outstanding warrant and booked into the Orange County Sheriff Department's Jail.
