Enzo Maresca Reacts to Chelsea's 3-0 Victory Over Nottingham Forest ⚽

Post-match press conference with Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca following their 3-0 win against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League at the City Ground.

Goals from Josh Acheampong, Pedro Neto and Reece James sealed a dominant victory for Chelsea. The result proved to be Ange Postecoglou’s final match in charge of Forest, with the Australian head coach sacked shortly after full-time.

Maresca opened his press conference by expressing sympathy for Postecoglou, saying he “felt sorry for him”, before praising Chelsea’s second-half improvement, their clean-sheet mentality and the players’ desire to “not concede” until the end. He also discussed Malo Gusto’s red card, Enzo Fernández’s fitness concerns ahead of Ajax, and the ongoing management of Reece James, Wesley Fofana and Roméo Lavia.
