Russia: Mixed Reactions to Yeltsin's Address 🇷🇺

The reaction of lawmakers to President Yeltsin's state of the union address Thursday (06/03) was mixed.
The opposition blamed Yeltsin for bringing the country to the brink of collapse and questioned his ability to fulfil any meaningful reforms in the future.
Sympathetic lawmakers said Yeltsin's mere appreance in the public, for the first time after months of absence due to his illness, was important by itself.
