Russia Duma Considers Impeaching Yeltsin 🗳️

The Russian State Duma voted on Wednesday (22/1) to consider impeaching
President Boris Yeltsin on grounds of poor health, despite objections by
several factions that the move is unconstitutional.
The motion to remove the issue from the agenda was turned down by a 206-163 vote and the debate on whether to impeach the president began early afternoon.
