i just released the demo for my game Megabonk on the Steam Next Fest, and a lot of people played the demo of the game and started making funny builds that completely break my game. but now release date is coming up and i ran into a new problem with Silksong, the most wishlisted game on Steam... It's generally a bad idea to release your game on steam at the same time as another game, So I delayed megabonk a bit so I could work more on it and make the game better with more content. But little did I realize that I delayed my game straight into Borderlands 4 and Dying Light The Beast, with a combined wishlists of like 5 million. So I might be cooked here chat.
This is the progress of my game, Megabonk! I've spent 4-5 months developing it so far, and it has gone from beans to uuh less beans i guess. My game is sort of a mix between Vampire Survivors, Risk of Rain 2, and other roguelikes. There are randomly generated maps, and a bunch of different enemies and unlockable content. I'm making it in the Unity game engine. You should definitely wishlist Megabonk on Steam.
