About this video

What is density? We take a look at how the math in the density equation works. We use a simple chemistry experiment to find the density of peanut oil, water and corn syrup. This is an easy set of practice problems to calculate the density of a real substance/liquid. At the end of the video, see how different density's affect the placement of liquids.

Density is calculated by using mass and volume. Mass is divided by volume to get density. If you have density and volume you can find mass. Or if you have mass and density you can calculate the volume. This formula can be rearranged using algebra to find any one of the other variables as long as you have two out of the three variables.
