Mirchi Bangla presents Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay’s short story Ahwan, on Mirchi Friday Classics

The story Ahowan is taken from his story collection- Upalkhanda. This short story has two characters similar to Apu and Indir Thakrun of Pather Panchali. The young man returns to his village after a long absence and encounters an elderly woman, who greets him with immense affection.

এই গল্প আহ্বান, তাঁর গল্পগ্রন্থ ‘উপলখণ্ড’ থেকে নেওয়া। গল্পটির মূল দুই চরিত্রের মধ্যেও যেন অপু ও ইন্দির ঠাকরুণের ছায়া। এক তরুণ গ্রামে ফেরে বহু দিন পর, দেখা হয় এক বৃদ্ধার সঙ্গে যে হাজির তার জন্য অনেক স্নেহ নিয়ে।
