About this video

The Federal Capital Territory Administration has described the ongoing JUAC strike as unnecessary, insisting that 10 out of the 14 labour demands have already been met. A statement by the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, revealed that the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has paid 13 months of hazard arrears, commenced wage award payments, and approved over ₦286 million in promotion arrears, while tenure issues for directors have been resolved. According to the FCTA, remaining concerns, such as pension remittances, are before a joint committee, with the Administration urging renewed dialogue and assuring that workers' welfare remains a priority.
