About this video
The Colombian government responded to the announcement by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) that it would declare a unilateral and indefinite cease fire as of Saturday, December 20. The government said the move was a step in the right direction but that a bilateral cease fire would only be considered once a final peace agreement has been signed. The FARC said if the government attacks rebel units, it could signify an end to the cease fire. Charles Parkinson reports from Bogota.
