Dramatic beginnings for this episode as Cat storms out of the Rose Ceremony when she realizes she won't receive a rose. A sobbing Cat slams the door shut on the crew and cries to her mate Alisha about how unfair it all is. Inconsolable, she leaves paradise forever.

Paddy decides he isn't happy with Alisha's comment about Nathan choosing Britney over her mate Cat and makes his displeasure clear to her in a series of tense chats.

Paddy's sledgehammer tact leads to a huge fight between the pair with Alisha begging for a new guy to be sent in. After two days together, Alisha and Paddy's love story is over.

Paddy now sets his sights on Brooke.

Meanwhile, a matchmaking date reveals some interesting insights into who fancies whom. Most fancied male, Bill, chooses Alex Nation and most fancied female, Brooke, picks Nathan for a double date. Brooke is happy that she gets to hang out with both Nathan and Alex Nation.

Much flirting ensues, seeding romances between Bill and Alex N, Nathan and Brooke but also Brooke and Alex Nation. Back in Paradise a jealous Racheal is steaming that Bill is on a date with someone else after he gave her the rose last night.

Some new arrivals shake things up a bit as Davey and Jules enter. Newly single Alisha doesn't waste any time in chatting to them both, really hitting it off with Jules.

When the foursome return Rachael is ready to pounce. She pummels Bill with questions and he lies about kissing Alex. Brooke is overwhelmed with all the love interests she's attracting. Not only does she have hot American Alex wooing her but now she has feelings for both Nathan and Alex Nation as well.

Then, to add to her angst, Paddy corners her in the rain to reveal that he has feeling for her too. Not now Paddy. It's all too much for Brooke as she runs off into the night.

A new day brings a second date card which goes to Davey Lloyd. He chooses Alisha, who soon realizes Davey isn't the man for her as she can't stop thinking about Jules.

Paddy just won't let things go with Brooke and goes in for another attempt to tell her he's keen. Brooke's frustrations spill over when Paddy gets nasty. There is some shouting and swearing as both of them storm off.
