Osher arrives to announce the inevitable – Paradise is nearing the end and it's crunchtime for the couples. To add to the pressure, he announces a raft building challenge. But what the couples don't know is they will be observed by Human Lie Detector, Steve van Aperen. Steveis an expert in non-verbal communication and he is analysing body language and detecting any deception sneaking around Paradise.

Keira doesn't intend to get her hair wet so she pulls the plug on her on-again but mostly off relationship with Alex. He doesn't seem overly heartbroken as she heads off into the distance vowing that one day they'll probably get married.

Back to Steve the Human Lie Detector and after a series of couple chats, Steve draws the conclusion that Renee is not over Ciarran. Plus, after a flurry of deceptive shoulder shrugs and shifty behavior from Ciarran, Steve also doesn't believe Kiki and Ciarran can last the distance.

Renee is rattled after her session with Steve and makes a teary confession to Alisha that she has brought a ring to Paradise for Ciarran. Renee reveals Ciarran had promised her they would reunite in Paradise, but he couldn't stay away from temptation. Renee realises the only way she can move forward with Matt is to throw Ciarran's ring deep into the ocean. The people of Paradise witness this symbolic release and Kiki is gobsmacked that everyone knows about the ring except her and more importantly, Ciarran never bothered to tell her.

Osher makes another appearance to announce that tonight will be the final rose ceremony, but with a twist. Tonight, the couples will be exchanging roses to signal their willingness to meet each other's friends and/or family. Can Kiki ever trust Ciarran and will they take a leap of faith and move into this next critical stage of Paradise?
