Paradise is in turmoil with the arrival of the first ever ex-Bachelor, Richie. Straight off the bat, Richie is in hot demand as his self-professed "ex-girlfriend" Rachael convinces herself fate has brought the two of them back together. Rachael has not given her heart to anyone else since not receiving a rose from Richie. Now, along with Cat and Cass, she is staking a claim for Richie's heart.

Richie is just hoping for a second chance at love, and knowing he's tempted fate by coming to Paradise, hopes Alex Nation, his ex-winner, isn't on the island.

Not skipping a beat, the Bachelor Gods send Alex Nation into Paradise, ready to confront Richie over their tumultuous break up. The two haven't spoken in more than a year and half, and despite the extreme nature of their break up, Alex Nation is ready to finally have it out with Richie and get some much-needed closure.

Brittney finds her own kind of closure, successfully achieving her life-long dream of forming a working conga-line in Paradise.

There are several new arrivals to Paradise along the way, including Vanessa Sunshine, reprising her role as the disinterested truth-speaker we know and love, and Connor, a US Bachelor star who quickly strikes up a qick romance with Shannon.

Things happen quickly in Paradise, with Paddy moving on from Shannon to Alisha, and a romance brewing between Alex Nation and Australia's sweetheart Brooke.

Tensions run high as the boys have the power heading into a Rose Ceremony. A Rose ceremony so dramatic, it sees one of our Bachelorettes flee Paradise all together.
