Megan returns to Paradise with Thomas after their romantic evening together, sending Jake into a headspin. There are tears as Megan tells Jake about her date with Thomas. Jake is hurt and Megan left confused over the connection she has with both men and her doubts about Jake. It looks as though the pair's relationship may not survive. The next day, Megan puts everything on the line as she confesses to Jake that she kissed Thomas but, after sleeping on it, she knows that she only wants to be with Jake. The pair reconcile and Megan dumps Thomas. Meanwhile in Paradise, Leah has been moaning about wanting to go home but when Rachael gets a date card and takes American Jared - the only man Leah claims to be interested in - away for a Fijian kava ceremony and romantic picnic, Leah goes on a rant and spreads rumours through Paradise in an attempt to disrupt any bonds Rachael and Jared could possibly form. Leah makes a play for American Jared at the cocktail party but everything comes to a head when he learns of the rumours Leah has been spreading and confronts her about it. With Rachael getting paranoid and Leah playing coy, American Jared loses his cool and vows his rose is going to Rachael, not Leah. His plans go up in smoke, however, when Thomas throws a curve ball and gives his rose to Rachael at the Rose Ceremony. WIth American Jared last to hand out his rose, he begrudgingly picks Leah over Sasha.
