Why Not to Worry about Roko's Basilisk

Videos on the thought experiment known as Roko's Basilisk have been going around the internet for a while now, and it's caused more than a few people to experience existential dread. But even if such super computers are possible at any point in the future, I don't think Roko's Basilisk is worth worrying about, and in this video I will explain why. CAUTION: Roko's Basilisk is considered by many to be an information hazard, meaning information that could potentially be harmful to you just by knowing it. I've taken precautions in this video and avoided discussing any of the details that I believe qualify as potential information hazard, but I can't say the same about any other videos or articles online should you choose to look into it further. Some information in the comments section below might also count as info hazards since we may be discussing the thought experiment further.
