I often encounter husbands who are worried about their wives filing for divorce. However, I tell them that divorce itself should not be their primary concern.



Filing for divorce is actually one of the least harmful actions a wife can take to end a marriage.



In my experience, wives more frequently turn to powerful legal provisions such as Section 125 of the CrPC for maintenance, claims for monetary compensation, and residency rights under the Domestic Violence Act, as well as other criminal laws that may result in coercive actions against the husband and his family members.
