Dry Brushing Gold on Warhammer Miniatures ✨

About this video

Want a beginner-friendly way to paint your gold armor in Warhammer 40k, Age of Sigmar, or Old World?

In this miniature painting short, I will show you why drybrushing gold over a brown base is the key to a battle-worn, gritty look—perfect for Warhammer Old World, Stormcast Eternals, Blood Angels, (I think Dante or Sanguinary Guard), or anything you want to have a gold antique look.

I base with a mix of Citadel Mournfang Brown and Army Painter Matte Black, then drybrush Emperor’s Gold (Included in the recently released John Blanche Paint set from Army Painter) for rich metallic highlights that leave shadows intact.

Whether you're using Citadel paints or Army Painter paints, this technique gives your gold armor depth without looking too clean or cartoony.
