I finally got to covering the new battle theme!
To be fair, I only beat the epilogue last week and I assume a lot of people still didn't even reach the point where this song plays so... I didn't feel too rushed to cover this one. I even wonder if I'm uploading this too quickly to be honest! But hey... I was hyped about new Xenoblade music so here we are! I hope you'll like it!
I have mixed thoughts about this new epilogue, but overall, I enjoyed it. Al was a really funny character and I loved having him join the team. His affinity mission with the pizza was hilarious! Volitaris was fun to explore but it took way too long to finally get there and I didn't find the new final boss to be that interesting. What I did find super interesting though were the lore implications/references to the whole "Xeno" series! That blew my mind! Even though, in a way, it all felt as if they tried to connect X to the rest of the series with duct tape. I don't feel like that game was originally meant to connect to anything but that's just me. Is it even connected now? Very curious to see what Takahashi is planning for the series future!
