Hello everyone! :D More Xenoblade 2! It's been too long.
The Power of Jin aslo known as Our Paths May Never Cross in the Torna: The Golden Country expansion is a pretty sad song. It is also in my opinion one of the more well composed song from Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
You learn a lot about Jin's past going through the game's story and once you reach the end... and especially on a second playthrough after beating Torna... you don't want to have to fight him.
This piece is brillant to me because it seems to tell a story. The song starts off soft and melancholic really making you feel bad about the whole situation and things that turned Jin into what he is now. You'd like to be able to fix things and not have to do this fight. But then... it takes a more intense twist, the choir and full orchestra comes in and you know at that point there's no turning back. You don't have a choice. He won't change his mind.
It really grabs me emotionally and I absolutely love this song! I wanted to cover it for a really long time but I didn't know how to approach it nicely. In the end though I'm really happy with how it turned out and I hope you guys will enjoy a bit more Xenoblade Chronicles 2 from me!
Thanks for watching, enjoy! See you next week!
