How does a quantum computer ACTUALLY work?

Ever wondered how quantum computers work in a way that's easy to understand? Imagine you're in a rush to tidy your house before friends arrive. You have a list of tasks: washing dishes, vacuuming, mopping. It seems overwhelming, right? But what if I told you that in the quantum world, you could do all these chores simultaneously?

Qubits are similar in their function to a quantum computer as bits are to a classical computer but are immensely different. Quantum mechanics has a natural law called superposition which lets things be in multiple states at once so a qubit is essentially a bits that is both a one and a zero at the same time.
