What is the difference between ordinary computers and quantum computers?
Imagine we have an ordinary computer. It is like an explorer, traversing complex routes in search of a solution. Every time it is faced with a choice, it checks all possible paths one by one. But until the whole space is explored, we cannot be sure that the path found is the shortest.
A quantum computer, on the other hand, is a completely different level. Here we start with a single agent, but as soon as it makes a decision, we create new agents on each of the possible paths.
This ability to work simultaneously is called quantum superposition. When a solution is found, all the extra agents disappear and only one agent remains - the one that achieved the goal.
