Understanding Trivium: A Simple Yet Powerful Stream Cipher 🔐

Trivium is a stream cipher that is part of the portfolio of the eSTREAM project. Despite its simple structure, it is a very interesting cipher. In this video we explain how a single round of Trivium and its initialization works. At the end, we also show how to use the Trivium cipher component of CrypTool 2 to encrypt and decrypt text.
