Tidal Wave (1975) Widescreen Shot Recreation 🌊

"Tidal Wave" could only be seen in a pan and scan VHS release. So I decided to recreate a widescreen shot of the film. By taking a screenshot of this scene. Before it moves to the left, because of the pan and scan.

I used Movie Maker 10 to do this. I overlayed the screenshot over the "left part" of this shot. So it could be in widescren, its not entirely the original aspect ratio.

The screenshot filled the frame to be in 16:9, with black bars top and bottom. But its close of what would had the movie look like. Its not perfect, its just a test.

I'm currently making an HD reconstruction of the film. But most likely this recreated widescreen shot won't be in it.
