This 4K city walk begins on Vasagatan, a busy central street named after Sweden’s independence king, Gustav Vasa. We pass through Kungsgatan, lined with arcades and cinemas, and stop by Vete-Katten, a beloved café since 1928.

The route continues down Gamla Brogatan, connecting past and present near the central station, before merging into Drottninggatan, a classic pedestrian street laid out in the 1600s. After a taste of street life above ground, we head underground to T-Centralen, Stockholm’s main metro hub — and end the walk with a short ride on the Green Line, heading west.
