Norte Chico: The Oldest Civilization in the Americas 🌎

The Norte Chico Civilization was a pre-Columbian civilization that flourished in what is now Peru from around 4000 to 2500 BC. It is considered one of the oldest and most advanced civilizations in the Americas, predating even the famous civilizations of the Maya and the Inca. Despite its impressive achievements, the Norte Chico Civilization remains relatively unknown, as it predates the development of written language in the Americas.
