Sometimes you run into difficult starts for hardwood installation. I always like to find a common straight point that runs the length of the house so I can keep my floor as straight as possible. Especially, when the house is cut up and has multiple rooms. Here is a tip that I use on every install. I usually start towards the middle of the house and work my flooring both ways from the center point. I find it more accurate to do it this way.
