South Africans Face Record-Breaking Fuel Prices Amid Cost of Living Crisis 🚗

This morning, South Africans are waking up to exorbitant petrol and diesel prices. This is despite Treasury's extension of the fuel price levy reductions at the eleventh hour. This means motorists will have a temporary R1.50 reprieve for June, which will drop to 75 cents a litre in July. However, petrol prices will still increase by a whopping R2.43, while diesel will jump by up to R1.10 cents. Had the government not stepped in, the petrol price would've increased by nearly R4 a litre.
