Sibal Criticizes Government for Focus on Data Collection Over Data Protection

The Pegasus 'snooping' report kicked up a storm during the Monsoon Session of Parliament as Opposition cornered the government over it, alleging that the spyware was used to snoop on journalists and politicians in the country. The opposition parties created a ruckus over the alleged phone tapping and other issues in both Houses of Parliament, forcing repeated adjournment of proceedings.
