September 2025 Astronomy Events to Watch 🌌

If you love looking at the night sky, then September 2025 is going to be awesome. Right at the start of the month, the Aurigid meteor shower will light up the sky with about ten shooting stars every hour, peaking on September 1. Then, on September 7, a total lunar eclipse will turn the Moon a deep red, often called a blood moon, and it’s going to look magical.

A few days later, on September 12, the Moon will cover the famous Pleiades star cluster for a short time, hiding those twinkling stars. And on September 19, Venus, the Moon, and the bright star Regulus will line up in the sky, creating a beautiful triangle you can spot even without a telescope. September is packed with wonders you won’t want to miss!
