October 2025 Astronomy Events You Can't Miss 🌕

You seriously don't have to miss these awesome astronomical events of October 2025. The first big event is the full moon on October 6, which is actually the first of three supermoons at the end of the year. It’ll look huge and bright in the sky, and you might even spot Saturn nearby before sunrise.

Then, don’t forget the Draconid meteor shower on the night of October 8. It’s a smaller shower, but you could catch a few shooting stars if you’re watching late at night.

Finally, the Orionid meteor shower peaks on October 21 and 22. This one is amazing because the skies will be really dark, so you can see fast, bright meteors streaking across the sky. Make sure to look after midnight facing Orion!
