Russia's Communist Party leader and presidential candidate, Gennady Zyuganov, led 50,000 Communist supporters in a march through central Moscow on Thursday (9/5) to mark the 51st anniversary of the Soviet Union's World War Two victory over Nazi Germany. Victory Day, May 9, is one of the most important national holidays in Russia, marked every year by a grand military parade through
Red Square. Zyuganov addressed the Communist rally in the square outside the headquarters of the former KGB.
