Pontiac straight eight - tune-up

Got the engine up to full running temperature and set the valve lash. Most of the valves were far too tight and closed up because I had set them cold and by eye after doing a top end clean.
Sounds better- coughs on pick-up a little because the fuel was beginning to vaporize in the pipe that runs under the oil pan and the carburetor was not filling back up initially.
