NSW Changes Anzac Day Holiday Rules 🇦🇺

New South Wales introduces a new public holiday rule where if Anzac Day falls on a weekend (Saturday or Sunday), the following Monday becomes a public holiday. The policy applies for 2024 and 2025, with Anzac Day falling on Saturday this year and Sunday next year. The Minns government states the change allows Australians to pay respects to servicemen and women on the actual day while also having Monday to spend with family and friends.
