Mumbai LPG Shortage: Residents Queuing for Days 🚶‍♂️

A severe LPG cylinder shortage has gripped suburban Mumbai, with residents in the Ashok Nagar area of Kandivali East forming serpentine queues stretching over a kilometre. Around 200 people were seen waiting with empty cylinders when a supply truck arrived. One resident stated he had been 'running for three days' to secure a cylinder and had missed work during this period. Another resident acknowledged the panic-driven rush but attributed it to high population density in Maharashtra. Police personnel have been deployed to maintain order and ensure smooth distribution amid the chaos. The cylinder shortage has forced residents to return day after day, hoping to secure their supply, disrupting daily routines and livelihoods across the affected areas.
