Mining Gold, Moving Ore, & Mine Improvements Season 3 Episode 9

This week at the mine, Jason, Harry, and the crew are back underground to review their first successful ore blast of the season — and the results are looking great! The breakage is clean, the ore is rich, and the crew wastes no time bagging up gold-bearing ore, mixing in some high-grade specimens to keep things exciting.

Jason takes a moment to dive into the geology of the vein system, explaining where the high-grade gold pockets tend to form and outlining their future mining targets. But as the team works through the ore, they realize that reaching the raise this season might not happen — so it’s time for some serious mine improvements.

From upgrading the ore carts, raise, and strap rail system to boosting efficiency for moving 30–40 tons of ore down the mountain, the team is all in to make this their most productive year yet. Stay tuned — the season is just heating up, and there’s a lot more gold to come!
