Nevada Gold Ore Processing with Jeff Williams 🏆

This is the one we've all been waiting for! A few weeks ago, I teamed up with @Askjeffwilliams in Nevada, and he sent me home with some "super rich" sample bags. Today, we are digging in to see exactly what is hidden inside this rock.

From hand-screening for high-grade specimens to running the shaker table and even a full fire assay/smelt, we put these samples through the wringer. We ran into a major mystery along the way—a dense, yellow mineral that looked exactly like gold in the pan but didn't act like it under the microscope.

Initial Screening: Searching for visible specimen gold.

Metal Detecting: Using the White’s detector to spot the "screamers."

The "Fake Out": Discovering a mystery mineral (Lead or Tungsten?) that panned out just like gold.

Processing: Using the jaw crusher, disc grinder, and shaker table.

The Payoff: Smelting and cupelling the concentrates to find the final gold weight.

Was it as rich as we thought? The final calculation puts this at 12 to 15 ounces per ton—definitely a gold mine!
