About this video
This video was made as part of a fourth-year undergraduate course covering an overview of Data Compression.
Correction: There is a typo on Slide 26 (visible starting at 32:49 in the video). The second version of the formula for PSNR should not contain a square root operator (or the coefficient in front of the second term should be 20, not 10).
The images of the pear, fruit salad and grapefruit (used as set pieces) were originally sourced from Wikimedia Commons:

- https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Citrus_paradisi_(Grapefruit,_pink)-2.jpg
All other slides and diagrams are original content (developed between 2019 and 2023).
As any viewer will quickly realize, these videos were made just like in-person lectures: in one sitting, with no breaks, editing or script. If you find any of this helpful or interesting, please let me know (I really appreciate any other feedback as well).
