London Aims to Be Emission-Free by 2050 🌍

<p><b> by Anthony Falco</b></p>London Mayor Sadiq Khan hopes to cut transportation emissions to zero by 2050</a>.The ambitious plan would require Londoners to reduce their reliance</a> on all types of cars. A key part the roadmap to zero emissions includes “record investment” in London’ public transportation system as well as building safer and more accommodating infrastructure for cyclists and pedestrians.</p>Mayor Khan hopes that walking, cycling, and public transit will make up 80 percent of daily commutes by 2041.</p>The mayor also called for taxis to be non-polluting by 2033 and for all bus fleets to realize zero-emissions by 2037.
