Lighting Circuit with 2 Plate Method & 2-Way Switches 💡

In this video we look again at a lighting circuit using the 2 plate method and I explain the connections within the switches for 2 way switching (2 way switching). The 2 plate method takes the feed (supply) to the switch and is often used in installation that have lots of downlights fitted (LED). I show you how to wire and connect up a 2 ways switches when the circuit is wired using the 2 plate method. The 2 plate method is a very common wiring method used on site so it’s important appreciate electricians and trainees understand it.

This video will show you how to convert (change) a 1 way switched lighting circuit into a 2 way lighting circuit.
