NBC News' Richard Engel was reporting on an anti-war #protest in #Jerusalem when he witnessed an argument between a protester and a man who had just served in the IDF in #Gaza. During the heated exchange, protesters are heard in the background chanting, “we are prepared to die before we enlist," which is the slogan of the extreme Haredim, a branch of Orthodox Jews, in their demonstrations against being drafted.
