Israeli Drone Attacks Palestinian Tents, 5 Dead

An Israeli drone struck tents housing displaced Palestinians in al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis, killing at least five people, including two children.

The attack came hours after five Israeli soldiers were wounded after they attacked Palestinian fighters who allegedly emerged from tunnels in Israel-controlled Rafah on Wednesday.

Israel said it carried out multiple air strikes and struck a Hamas commander in the southern Gaza Strip in retaliation for four of their soldiers being wounded.

Since the ceasefire took effect, Israel has killed at least 360 Palestinians and wounded over 920 people across Gaza.

Gaza’s Government Media Office reported that Israel violated the ceasefire at least 591 times from 10 October to 2 December.
