About this video
A Palestinian man was arrested at his workplace in Jerusalem on Wednesday after an Israeli blogger reported him to the police.
Yedidya Epstein said he reported the Palestinian man to the Israeli police for his social media posts, after finding out he works at a convenience store in a petrol station in Jerusalem.
Epstein said on his Instagram account that he stalked the social media activity of a Palestinian man, according to him named Ayman Obeid, for a few months and reported him to the police after he posted anonymous posts using โHamas music and symbolsโ.
Epstein, an ultra-Orthodox Jew with ties to Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, tends to monitor Palestinian accounts on social media and harass them.
In the past, Epstein reported several times to the police and even directly to Minister Ben-Gvir about "suspicious activity" by Palestinians on social media, which more than once led to their arrest.
