When Skoda pumps out a go-fast model with a RS badge, it’s likely to become a cult favourite with motoring gears heads. But what is the outcome when that badge is deployed onto an all-electric, 2250kg all-paw SUV?

Enter the Enyaq Coupe RS that, at $83,990 before on-roads, is the most expensive Skoda model yet sold in Australia. Yet with 250kW and served only as a five-seater, the Coupe RS isn’t nearly the quickest or roomiest electric SUV on the block. Nor is its 77kWh usable battery monstrous or its circa-430km real-world range all that vast.
