Investigation Launched into Hospital Data Breach Involving Princess Kate

It’s been reported that staff at the London Clinic may have attempted to access Princess Kate’s private medical records. <br /> <br />Catherine, the Princess of Wales, underwent abdominal surgery at the London Clinic in January. Her Royal Highness spent almost two weeks in the hospital recovering after the surgery. <br /> <br />An internal investigation has apparently been launched by the hospital, where King Charles also recently received treatment. The UK’s data watchdog, the Information Commissioners' Office (ICO), has also now become involved. In a statement, the ICO confirmed that it was assessing a report of a possible privacy breach. <br /> <br />Kensington Palace has not yet commented on the reported hospital data breach attempt.
