Using OneDrive on iPhone (2025) 📱 - Beginner's Guide

In this video tutorial, learn how to use OneDrive on iPhone. OneDrive is a cloud storage app developed by Microsoft and this guide puts you through on how to master it. If you are a beginner seeking for how to use this wonderful software on your mobile smartphone, this guide helps you out. Even if you are a senior, this guide helps you as well.

If you work in a cooperate organization where you access the software once you go to work, you can still access it in your mobile. If there is need for you to urgently retrieve a file you uploaded on OneDrive, you can login via your smartphone and retrieve it. Whether you work in an organization where OneDrive is used for files backup and syncing or an individual, you can use the mobile version.

On App Store, search for Microsoft OneDrive and install the app on your phone. After the installation, open it and login with your OneDrive email address and Password. If you are using the app for the first time, just sign up through the app.

When you log into the application, you will be landed on the Home tab. This tab displays all the files you recently accessed on the platform. You can open them from there.

There are other tabs that are on OneDrive app. These other tabs are Files, Shared, Camera, and Photos. Each of these tabs have some tasks you can complete through it.

If you want to see the files and folders that are on your cloud storage account, tap the Files tab. You can also upload files and create folders from the tab. You can create some other files like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint from the Files tab. To upload a file, click the plus sign ➕ at the top right, and select the option to upload file into your OneDrive account. If you want to create folder, click the Plus sign ➕ also and select the option to create folder. Give the folder a name and tap create button.

Tap the Share tab to see the files that you have shared with people via OneDrive. If you have not shared any file with someone before, the tab will be open once you open it. But, any time you share files with people, they will be recorded in the tab.

The Camera tab allows you to scan a file directly into OneDrive. Tap on it and scan any hard copy file you want to backup on the cloud storage app.

Photos tab displays all the photos you have uploaded on OneDrive. So, if you want to access your photos, click on the tab and you will see them all. You can long press on the photo you want to use for it to be selected. The next thing is to tap Share and download it into your smartphone.
