In the video, the hillside begins to give way in a cloud of dust as witnesses exclaim in shock.

As the landslide intensifies, the debris engulfs the supporting bases of the bridge and the structure partially disintegrates.

The bridge, which links the country’s heartland with Tibet, crumbles into clouds of dust leaving debris strewn across the ravine.

Fortunately no casualties have been reported.
