Video appears to show the thieves behind the Louvre heist escaping on a mechanical ladder. Two people can be seen looking around frantically as they slowly descend, minutes after the famed Paris museum was broken into and €88 million in crown jewels was stolen. The Louvre's boss admitted Wednesday that staff had failed to spot them because there is only one camera on the gallery where the items were displayed. Liza Kaminov and France 2's N. Perez and E.
