On 19th October, one of the boldest heists in history shook Paris. Thieves struck the Louvre Museum in broad daylight, stealing €88 million worth of priceless crown jewels in just 4–7 minutes. Using a truck-mounted crane, they reached a balcony, cut through a window, and smashed high-security display cases — all while alarms rang and visitors roamed nearby.

The loot included tiaras, necklaces, and earrings from Napoleonic-era queens and empresses like Marie-Amélie, Empress Eugénie, and Marie-Louise. Shockingly, a crown was dropped and damaged during the escape.
